1) National Risk Atlas of Mexico (Atlas Nacional de Riesgos)

Consists of a geographic information system for disaster risk management in Mexican territory. The system allows the analysis of risks and vulnerabilities in municipal, state, regional and national levels.

2) EM-DAT: The International Disaster Database

EM-DAT contains essential core data on the occurrence and effects of over 22,000 mass disasters in the world from 1900 to the present day. The database is compiled from various sources, including UN agencies, non-governmental organisations, insurance companies, research institutes and press agencies.

3) Los Angeles GeoHub

The GeoHub is the City's new public platform for exploring, visualizing, and downloading location-based Open Data. You can also analyze and combine Open Data layers using maps, as well as develop new web and mobile applications.

4) Dar Ramani Huria

Dar Ramani Huria is a community-based mapping project in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Dar Ramani Huria (which is Swahili for “Dar Open Map”) is training teams of local university students and community members from throughout Dar Es Salaam to use OpenStreetMap to create sophisticated and highly-accurate maps of Dar es Salaam.
