Mission And Disaster Reduction Profile

The City Development and Innovation Corporation (CityDi) is the main IT development subsidiary corporation of Shahr Bank Holding. It was founded in 2011 and its headquarters is located in Tehran, Iran. In 2015, CityDi launched the most modern banking system “Virtual Banking”, which is coded as 724 due to its service time (7 days per week, 24 hours per day). The Shahr Bank is a disaster resilient bank by taking disaster risk reduction in its operations such as business continuity and disaster recovery plan. CityDi pays attention to disaster resilience and needs of its customers and communities at large. CityDi is active in areas such as provision of temporary internet banking access and mobile banking services in disaster affected areas and provision of digital identify card storage for customers in case of losing the hard copies in disasters, provision of disaster insurance to customers and provision of low interest loans for reconstruction and building reinforcement.
