Mr. Furtado Fernandes has more than 32 years of experience in protection actions and civil defense. He has been working for more than 32 years for Brazil's Civil Defense. Currently he works as a Director of Civil Defense in Campinas, Regional Coordinator, and Coordinator of the Thematic Chamber of Civil Protection in the metropolitan region of Campinas. Furthermore, he is a member of the Disaster Support Group of the National Civil Defense of the Ministry of National Integration. He joined the Campaign as an advocate in 2013.
