Nadeisha Cisneros has 9 years of international experience in disaster risk management and climate change adaptation. She has contributed to the development of community disaster risk management plans as well as to development of climate change adaptation development plans at local level and within business sector. She has participated in the research on physical vulnerability index in hospitals, school and refugees centres. Nadeisha Cisneros worked as an instructor of UN-Habitat and UNDRR courses on Strategic Planning for Sustainable Local Development in Latin America. Currently, she works as independent consultant within the area of managing disaster risk reduction, climate change, territorial planning and sustainable development.
