Ms. Romero Vargas has 25 years of professional experience in disaster risk management in Costa Rica at the national level within the Office for Disaster Risk Management in San Jose. She has managed various projects with broad range of stakeholders at local, national and international level. As a professor, she teaches Environmental Protection and Risk Reduction within several public and private university programs.
