At the Science and Policy Forum you can add your voice to the development of a technical Sendai Hazard Definition list, discover the latest technological advances in disaster risk reduction solutions and find out how big data can support enhanced action for resilience.

Learn from experts on how science and technology is shaping resilience towards sustainable and inclusive societies or contribute to the Science and Technology Roadmap for Sendai and greater coherence between the 2030 agreements. As a special event ELSEVIER will launch its new journal ""Progress in Disaster Science.

The Science and Policy Forum will contribute to the twenty-second session of the ECOSOC Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD)(please see link below).

All sessions of the Global Platform (13-17 May) and the E-STAG Plenary meeting (14 May) will take place at the CICG located rue de Varembé.

The Science & Policy Forum (13-14 May) will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Palais des Nations (building A, 3rd floor). Access to the Palais des Nations is possible only through the Pregny Gate (10 - 15 min walking distance from CICG).

All participants need to first get conference badges at the entrance of the CICG BEFORE reaching the Palais des Nations, using exclusively Pregny Gate (see map) to enter.
