The international agendas of the Sendai Framework, the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the resolutions about Universal Health Coverage all require reaching "those further behind." These marginalized and at risk communities are especialy vulnerable during disasters. This session describes and demonstrates a new platform called "Health in Your Hands" which is part of the "SDGs in Action" initiative of the United Arab Emirates, presented at the World Government Summit. Integral to reachng out to those left behind is the requirement to adapt to diverse cultures. Arts and music techniques that can achieve this goal are presented. These techniques have been applied in various regions and can be easily replicated by community volunteers. This session is descriptive with videos, as well as interactive for practical and immediate application.
