In order to make Quezon City more resilient to disasters the Quezon City Local Government (QCLG) took the initiative to craft a Science and Policy Framework (SPF). This involved developing sectoral-based DRR and CCA action plans which are considered as globally-effective tools for achieving the Paris Agreement, Sustainable Development Goals, and targets of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. Therefore, this session will be relevant for key policy makers involved in sustainable development, economic planning, and disaster risk reduction and management.
