Launch of 'Words into Action' guidelines

This Ignite session with host the launch of 3 new 'Words into Action' guides. 'Developing national disaster risk reduction strategies' 'Disaster Displacement: How to Reduce Risk, Address Impacts and Strengthen Resilience' 'Local disaster risk reduction and resilience strategies' The Words into Action series aims to ensure worldwide access to expertise, communities of practice and networks of disaster risk reduction practitioners. One important goal is to offer concrete and empirically-tested advice on how to implement several crucial themes and priorities that form the basis of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030.
