Understanding risk: enhanced vulnerability and capacity assessment platform

This presentation will showcase the new online Enhanced Vulnerability and Capacity (EVCA) platform. The EVCA is the result of an extensive review of the VCA and its application within the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement (RCRC) conducted in 2015. It is an improved version that now includes climate change as well as gender and diversity considerations and has been adapted to better analyse the different characteristics of resilient communities. It will also provide a platform for future guidance on how to conduct EVCAs in an urban or conflict context and the utilisation of digital tools.
