With examples from Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan, ActionAid showcase their four year programme that explores how women’s leadership, rights and protection can be used as an important entry point for community resilience building. They unpack the importance of social cohesion, strengthening relationships between host and refugee communities, transferable resilience skills required for women likely to be displaced in the future and how protection work opens up opportunities for resilience building in fragile, violent and protracted crises contexts.
