Work around transforming the relationship between development and disaster risk is at the cutting-edge of the science on DRR, resilience, adaptation and transformation. This presentation will showcase key insights and lessons learnt from five years of scientific research and policy engagement at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) and the Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR) International Centre of Excellence on Transforming Development and Disaster Risk (ICoE-TDDR), working with academic, policy, development and private sector partners at global, regional and sub-national levels. The interactive presentation seeks to discuss and challenge innovative scientific and policy approaches, together with the audience.
