Trees deliver vital long-term ecosystem services such as clean water, clean air, conservation of biodiversity and resilient landscapes. This presentation demonstrates how a project like 'One Billion Trees for Africa' is capable of bringing a new dynamic, and improving local communities’ capacities to adapt to climate change and build resilience to disasters. The project describes itself as being a simple solution that solves complex issues in a people friendly, climate smart, cost effective and inclusive way.
