This presentation seeks to connect the DRR community to the potential that ecosystems offer as solutions to the risks posed by climate change. IUCN highlight the added value of a new tool, the Global Standard for Nature-based Solutions. As the standard is currently in development, this is an opportune time for the DRR community to hear about it and give their opinion, ensuring the standard that is created provides the best value for future projects.
