Disasters often force communities to organise themselves quickly. A tool to help with this is network analysis. By using network analysis, it is possible to understand how disaster-affected communities adapt to the disruption of their geographically specific networks. It allows risk assessment managers to better understand the geographies and communities in which disasters happen and better anticipate the capacities of these communities. This presentation showcases how holistic network analysis has supported the designing of an efficient and targeted response in the Ukraine.
