The NASA Disasters team explain how they provide rapid response to support disaster risk reduction with Near Real-Time (NRT) products that can only be acquired from space-based instruments and models. The combination of all available NRT satellite products provides global coverage of the earth at multiple times per day, which provides critical information to support DRR before, during and after a disaster.
