Using India’s River Ganges River Basin as an example, this presentation hopes to demonstrate not only how machine learning, applied to disaster warnings, can have immense impact and save lives, but also gives one example of how a government can partner with corporations and non-profits to map disaster risk, generate warnings, and alert the public in locally relevant and actionable ways.
