This presentation will showcase the findings and films created as part of a participatory video-based research project, focusing on enhancing the disaster resilience of rural communities in Nepal after the devastating 2015 earthquakes. The films discuss the community fears, priorities, perceived levels of resilience and what they feel they require from the government to better cope with future natural disasters. The project hopes to introduce grassroots voices into policymaking and implementation.
