The University of Auckland delve into the world of video games, and introduce the concept of a georeferenced Minecraft world as a learning tool to foster student / children’s participation in disaster and DRR. The P-Tech in CitSci project worked in collaboration with teachers and students from a rural school in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand to pioneer this initiative.
