Conference Information

Visas
EWC-II participants are responsible for ensuring that their passports are valid, and that visa requirements are met. To check wether you require a visa to enter Germany, please refer to your local German consulate/embassy.


Transport
Upon check in at the hotel, those who have made a reservation for accommodation by 10 September (via Tourismus & Congress GmbH) will receive a ticket for travel from the hotel to the conference venue.

Upon registration at the conference participants will receive a ticket which entitles the bearer to full use of public transport (bus and underground) within Bonn's city limits from 16 to 19 October. Please note that the ticket does not cover travel to the airport upon departure.


Meals
Lunch tickets may be purchased at the registration desk on-site.

On 16 and 17 October the City of Bonn and the German Government will be hosting evening functions, providing dinner and drinks. Please note that all other meals are the participants' responsibility.


On-site conference service
On-site internet/computer access, photocopying, fax and telephone services will be provided to participants on a commercial basis.


Poster Presentations
One pinboard (dimensions 1.20 x 1.45 m) will be provided to participants registered to make a poster presentation. To confirm your designated space please contact the registration desk on-site.

Posters must be set up on Thursday 16 October and removed upon the conclusion of the conference. Please note that the organizers will not take any responsibility for posters not removed by Sunday 19 October.


Disabled Access
There is full access for wheel chairs via an elevator to the Conference Centre.


Medical Services
Adequate first aid medical facilities will be available within the conference area.
