Arab Communities within the Sendai Framework on DRR

The Arab Network for Environment and Sustainable Development (RAED) believes that the success in applying resilience building approaches depends on ensuring effective stakeholder engagement through National Platforms through which the roles and responsibilities of each actor is determined and empowered , taking into consideration the important role that was proven by CSOs.
RAED in partnership with the League of Arab States, the ISDR Regional Office for the Arab States and the Norwegian Council for Refugees aim to build on / continue what we have achieved during the preparation to the 2017 GP through highlighting the efforts done by relevant stakeholders to enhance communities resilience in the Arab Region, and means of building synergies between SFDRR, SDGs and Paris Agreement on CC.
