The objective of the event is to show the scope and achievements of the regional cooperation initiatives Mexico supports to increase the regions’ resiliency to disasters caused by natural phenomena, as well as the importance of strategic alliances aiming to strengthen the ongoing projects.

The event will be taken as an opportunity to display this scheme as the sort of structures Mexico pursues to achieve in its cooperation efforts, as they are complementary with other regional mechanisms and reinforce the work performed in other key development fields such as health, housing, infrastructure and environment.
