This booth showcases how Japan and JICA has promoted Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and has contributed to the sustainable development all over the world.
DRR projects include enhancement of central government, promotion of investment in DRR, education for DRR, scientific research, community involvement, etc. All cooperation is based on our knowledge, technology and experience, especially that of the Great East Earthquake. Our main message of the Market Place is to show what each country needs to do to implement the Sendai Framework and how to mainstream DRR.
