The booth will highlight progress made by the Global Alliance for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience in the Education Sector (GADRRRES) in supporting school safety globally.
It will feature GADRRRES’ support to the Worldwide Initiative for Safe Schools (WISS), a global partnership providing technical support to governments in implementing CSS.
Included in the display will be resources developed by GADRRRES supporting the three pillars of Comprehensive School Safety (CSS): Safe Learning Facilities, School Disaster Management, and Risk Reduction and Resilience Education.
Access to technical information and case study examples addressing school safety in different contexts will be provided.
