The exhibition will provide posters and video materials on latest Satellite and in situ data used in operational climate monitoring, forecasting and scenarios services.
Climate products for Disaster Risk management including climate suitable conditions for malaria and meningitis emergence and epidemics in Africa, warming levels and rates in Africa, drought monitor, hazards scenarios and outlooks, related potential impacts and preparation /response options will be highlighted.
Discussions with visitors on approaches to optimize effective use of climate services derived from latest advances in science and technology for disaster risk management are expected.
