This booth will showcase the work of BRAC, the largest non-government organisation in the world dedicated to alleviating poverty and social injustice by empowering the poor.

BRAC works alongside the government, non-government organisations (NGOs) and communities across Bangladesh towards reducing the vulnerabilities of exposed populations by building resilience and fostering adaptability. Gender equality, respect for the environment, and inclusivity are themes crosscutting all of BRAC activities.

BRAC operates 16 social enterprises that are strategically connected to its development programmes, and form crucial value chain linkages increasing the productivity of BRAC’s beneficiaries across health, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, education, green energy and retail sectors.

To date, the NGO has reached 138 million people worldwide.
