This booth will highlight good practices on Knowledge, Collaboration, and Action from the Asia-Pacific region; showcase the outcomes of the RCC; launch our publications on engaging media to reduce disaster risk.

Our theme is “Knowledge, Collaboration, and Action” that is based on the past work and the outcomes of the 13th meeting of the Regional Consultative Committee on Disaster Management, which was established in 2000 as one of the first regional dialogue platforms to promote consultation and cooperation on reducing disaster risk.

The RCC on Disaster Management supports peer advocacy and the exchange of experience in disaster risk reduction. The Islamabad Statement, which focuses on enhancing sub-regional and regional cooperation to implement the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction will be highlighted.
