Catholic Relief Services will present lessons learned about what prompts people to invest in rebuilding their homes to be more resilient to future disasters. Five determinants of behavior directly influence the adoption of hazard-resistant construction practices: cues for action, access, perceived risk, perceived positive consequences, and perceived self-efficacy.
