The Swiss Red Cross will present innovative bio-engineering measures successfully implemented in Central America and the Caribbean: “Agua solida” (solid water) and “Terra preta”. In addition, they will present examples of green techniques that can significantly reduce the risk of landslide and flash floods, and retain rich soil for small agriculture production.
