The Huairou Commission will showcase the experiences of grassroots women living in disaster prone and poor communities in using the SFDRR as an empowering tool to accelerate resilience at the local level, in rural and urban settings. The women themselves will talk about their lived experiences and share with their audiences how different stakeholders can provide support.
