This presentation will demonstrate an impact-based, multi-hazard Early Warning System in Latin America. To improve the understanding of the potential impacts of severe hydro-meteorological events, forecasting chains were extended beyond the physical event prediction to include multiple perils and perform a real-time risk analysis on population and assets involved.
