This presentation will discuss how programs that engage local communities and integrate cultural priorities and values can accomplish key DRR and climate change adaptation goals. It will identify and demonstrate strategies for competently integrating cultural worldviews, local economic and non-economic value systems, and priorities into DRR based on a broad set of case studies.
