The Private Sector Day is a call to action for the integration of disaster and climate risk into business decision-making and investment. Focusing on ARISE and ARISE Network Action Plans for 2019 - 2020, risk-informed financial sector investment and the role of MSMEs in resilience building it will pave the way from the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction 2019 to the UN Climate Summit and Year of Action 2020.
