|The Making Cities Resilient Campaign aims at getting Mayors, local governments and national authorities to take actions towards making cities resilient as part of sustainable urbanization. All cities or local governments that are interested in participating in the campaign are invited to sign up as Participants.
||As the closest institutional level to citizens, local governments’ participation and leadership play a vital role to any commitments to disaster risk reduction through successfully integrating them to urban developing process.

UPLOAD CONFIRMATION LETTER
A letter from the Mayor’s office addressed to the UNDRR must be uploaded to confirm the participation in the Campaign.
Submit the application.
VERIFICATION FROM UNDRR
UNDRR will list the city and local government as Resilient City Participant. A campaign certificate will be sent to Participants virtually or given at a signing ceremony.
CREATE ONLINE PROFILE
The registered local government will be added to the web-based campaign city map and can log-in
to create its own online profile on the website.
