The ECO-ISDR workshop on the Global Assessment Report was held in Tehran on the 1st and 2nd July 2008.This work shop was jointly organized by the UN/ISDR and ECO Secretariat in Tehran. The workshop was provided and opportunity to introduce the process of monitoring, evaluation and reporting progress in implementing the HFA. The workshop was conducted in the context of ISDR system wide 2007-09 Biennial HFA progress Monitoring and Review Process.
