PPEW is located in the former German ministerial building the Lange Eugen with several other UN-organisations. Bonn is about 25 km south of Köln (Cologne). The map shows the location of the office and nearest U-Bahn (Metro) station. This area is just 2 km south of the centre of Bonn.

By foot or bicycle
The simplest route is to come along the paths on the west bank of the Rhine, until you reach Hermann Ehlers Strasse, which brings you to UN Campus.

By underground (U-Bahn)
The nearest station is “Heussallee”, about 10 minutes walk from the office, on Willy-Brandt-Allee. Walk down the Heussallee to Hermann Ehlers Strasse. The entrance of the 29-story building with a UN logo on top is located 50 meters down the road on the opposite side marked by two signs saying UNITED NATIONS or (in German) VEREINTE NATIONEN.

By Bus
Take Bus 610 from Bonn city centre (Hauptbahnhof) or Bad Godesberg city centre to a stop called Deutsche Welle. Walk down to Hermann Ehlers Strasse (toward the Rhine river) for about 2 minutes.

Information on bus and train in Bonn and its surroundings in German may be found on the web at http://www.vrsinfo.de, and http://www.verkehrsinfo.nrw.de/ort.asp?Ort=Bonn.

By rail
The closest railway station is Bonn main railway station (“Bonn Hauptbahnhof”), which is in the centre of the city. The Bonn/Siegburg station is further out, taking a taxi ride of about 25 minutes, but from here the very fast train takes only about 40 minutes to Frankfurt Airport.

By Air
The closest airport is Cologne/Bonn (CGN). From the airport, bus No. 670 brings you to Bonn main railway station (“Hauptbahnhof”) for a fare of about € 5.00 (cash required). A taxi to downtown Bonn takes about 15 to 20 minutes and costs about € 35.00, subject to traffic conditions. Alternatively, visitors can arrive at Frankfurt (FRA) or Düsseldorf (DUS) airports and can proceed by rail directly from the airport railway stations to Bonn. From Düsseldorf Airport the train takes about 60 minutes, while from Frankfurt Airport one can choose either the scenic route along the Rhine, which takes about 100 minutes, or the fast cross country train to the Bonn/Siegburg station, which takes about 40 minutes.
