In English:

This informative bulletin addresses activities being developed by partners within the framework of DIPECHO South America with financing from the European Union through its European Community Humanitarian Office (ECHO) to strengthen the preparedness and resilience of communities and institutions to cope with disasters. As part of efforts to strengthen activities of ECHO disaster risk reduction there are twenty-four projects being implemented in nine countries and three regional projects to support the preparation and protection of livelihoods of populations prone to droughts.
