This meeting is a part of the 'Open Days: 13th European Week of Regions and Cities'

The "Post-2015 Hyogo Framework for Action: managing risks to achieve resilience” will be used as an umbrella topic. In line with the Committee of the Regions opinion adopted, the main focus will be on prevention, preparedness and resilience of local and regional authorities. The importance of cooperation at the different levels of governance in preparing local communities to disasters will be discussed.

  • EU, national, regional and local policy/decision makers
  • Authorities managing and evaluating cohesion policy programmes and projects
  • Other stakeholders: private companies, financial institutions, European and national associations
  • Academics, students and researchers

Registration

Participation in the Open Days is free of charge.

Registration for Brussels-based seminars is open until 28 September and happens online.

Access to the Open Days 2015 is upon registration only.
