Land Information Systems for Smart Cities
During the forum Geospatial Media and UNECE will organize a two-day dialogue forum, "Land Information Systems for Smart Cities". The workshop objectives are to discuss existing concepts for smart cities, showcase examples of smart-city approaches and formulate next steps for cooperation between different organizations working for smart cities.
The kick-off will happen on Wednesday, 7 May from 12:00-15:00 at the Centre International de Conferences Geneve 17 rue de Varembe
The GEO Appathon is a global applications (App) development competition that aims to develop new, exciting and - most importantly - useful Apps using Earth observation data from the open and expansive Earth Observation data sets in the GEOSS Common Infrastructure (GCI).
Come and learn more about GEO/GEOSS and the role of Earth observations in addressing global environmental challenges.
