Convened by AMCOW, Africa Water Week is the biggest platform for raising awareness about water and sanitation issues in Africa. The event attracts over 1000 participants from Africa and beyond, including Ministers and Ministers representatives responsible for water affairs in Africa; development partners; civil society; the youth; the research and academia; and the media.

Target audience

AWW-5 is expecting between 800-1000 participants, drawn from up to 54 African countries (Ministers and high-level decision makers, government officials, sector specialists and civil society organizations), and delegates from development partners and international agencies, the public or private sectors, civil society, academia and the media.
