Framed into the activities for the RISK Award-winning project proposal "Making the City of Beira resilient to Floods and Cyclones", a city-wide simulation exercise will be held, which will involve large parts of Beira's population and all relevant institutions.

The simulation will serve to prepare Beira for the event of a cyclone, while proving if planned procedures are working.
