ANDROID is an international academic network that aims to promote co-operation and innovation among European HE to increase society’s resilience to disasters of human and natural origin. UNISDR is a key partner of the network and the network fully supports the UNISDR Making Cities Resilient Campaign.

This first conference will include a varied programme of workshops, round tables, special interest group meetings, work package working group meetings, and plenary addresses including a speech from UNISDR. A detailed programme will be circulated in due course. The Conference is being organised by our partner in Estonia, Tallinn University of Technology, led by Professor Irene Lill. The conference will also result in an annual report on the state of innovation in disaster resilience education.
