Preliminary Management Oversight Board of the ISDR system
 

The Preliminary Management Oversight Board (Pre-MOB) is composed of :

  • Chair: Jan Egeland (JE), USG for Humanitarian Affairs, UN Emergency Relief Coordinator, Chair of ISDR system
  • Vice-Chair: Kathleen Cravero (KC), Assistant Administrator, UNDP and Director UNDP/BCPR, on behalf of UNDG
  • Michel Jarraud (MJ), Secretary-General, WMO
  • Katherine Sierra, Vice President Infrastructure, World Bank
  • Markus Niskala, SG IFRC
  • Sálvano Briceño (SB), Director, ISDR secretariat

The first meeting of the Preliminary Management Oversight Board (Pre-MOB) for the ISDR system was held at the UN headquarters, New York, 10 March 2006.

The next meeting of the Pre-MOB will be held on 10 October 2006 – a day before the International Day for Disaster Reduction.
