Disaster Prevention Workshop, 27-29 July 2009, Stockholm (Sweden)

On 27-29 July 2009 UNISDR Europe attended the Disaster Prevention Workshop organized by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agencies (MSB), Swedish National Platform Coordinator, in close cooperation with the Swedish Ministry of Defense, in the context of the EU Swedish Presidency.
The aim of this workshop was to discuss the development of and EU strategy for the prevention of natural and man-made disasters and to identify how Member States can contribute to an EU added value for disaster prevention activities.
