UNISDR side event at ECOSOC 2009 - Briefing on the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction

The side event will brief on the outcomes of the Second Session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in June 2009. It will build on the Chair’s Summary of the Global Platform and highlight the lessons, findings and recommendations from global and regional reports and the conclusions from the five high-level panels, each of which is being represented by the Panelists.
