2013 Global Assessment Report for Disaster Risk Reduction

The Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction is a comprehensive review and analysis of the natural hazards that affect us. It comes out every two years. The 2013 edition will look at how public regulation and private investment shapes disaster risk.

Hyogo Framework for Action

The 'Hyogo Framework for Action: Building the Resilience of Nations and Communities to Disasters (HFA)' is a 10-year plan to make the world safer from natural hazards. It was endorsed by the UN General Assembly following the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami.
